Background

Molly Grady-Tatgé has spent the
last seventeen years studying, teaching and practicing healing and bodywork.
Her primary mode of healing is CranioSacral therapy. She has also studied
healing and massage techniques from around the world, from ancient to
modern.
Molly is a graduate of the University of
Minnesota in Psychology and Spanish and
holds a masters degree in human development from St. Marys University of
Minnesota. Her graduate research was centered on international healing and the
connection between the mind and the body. Much of Mollys work has been to
combine psychology and bodywork. As a result she has come to understand,
promote and develop in others the fusion between the mind, body, spirit and
soul.
Molly completed a practicum in
CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute in 1993 as well as the advanced levels
of training in CST. The Upledger Institute is an organization dedicated to
research and the training of health care professionals in the art of
CranioSacral Therapy, as well as a treatment center for brain and spinal cord
injuries. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota in Psychology and
Spanish. She holds a Master's Degree in Human Development from St. Mary's
University of Minnesota. She is currently the owner of Atlanta CranioSacral
Therapy ands hold a private practice in her
Buckhead office.
Her belief is that each person carries
within themselves, within their own bodies, knowledge and insight into what
their body needs in order to heal itself. Mollys natural empathy coupled with her knowledge,
enable her to guide people to listen to their own bodies. Many people not only
listen and learn, but are able to follow these insights to heal themselves of
pain, free themselves from restrictions and thereby experience a sense of
greater freedom and joy.
A few words from Molly:
"I first decided to learn bodywork while
in college during my summer break. I was a concert pianist as a child and
needed to do something with my hands besides play the piano. So I went to
massage school. About 8 years later, I developed some low back pain and decided
to see a chiropractor. This chiropractor did CranioSacral therapy on my back
and my pain went away. I was puzzled by the ease with which this therapy worked
and became curious so I took a Sharecare
seminar with her. I met my mentor, Maureen Morgan, an advanced CranioSacral
therapist who was co-teaching the class. I later participated in her study
group and went on to study CranioSacral therapy with the Upledger Institute. I
have been the recipient of CranioSacral therapy for a number of years; I firmly
believe that in order to facilitate other's healings, I must first begin with
myself. With guidance from Maureen, inspiration from clients and friends, I
have made CranioSacral work my life's calling.
"I also have studied esoteric healing,
tai chi, Qigong, chinese medical massage, thai massage and psychic
development.
"Part of my work and research has been to
combine psychology and bodywork. As a result, I have come to understand more
clearly the fusion between mind, body, spirit and soul. We as individuals need
to take responsibility for our bodies, our minds and our hearts if we are to
significantly improve our lives. Our spirits are as intimately connected to our
bodies as are our thoughts. At the core of my work is the concept that healing
begins within. You may contact me by calling 404-531-6433 or emailing me at molly@craniosacralhealing.com."
